I don't have any backfires with the Supertrapp installed. I had the mechanic at the dealers remove the white spacer on the carb needle and drill out the brass plug over the low speed fuel mix screw and adjust it for more juice at low rpm. The results - no backfires and better acceleration. I thought it was running a little rich with the stock pipe, but with the Supertrapp I think it is right on the money.
